We have been studying the characters in our books -- we've noticed the ways our characters act, and what our characters say. Today we learned that the characters actions and words tell us about who they are. These are called character traits! Ask your child to tell you about some of the character traits we've discussed. You might ask how an emotion is different from a trait!
