Today during our Readers Workshop lesson we learned a new strategy for when we have a tricky word in our book. The strategy is called "Eagle Eye" Ask your child to tell you how to use Eagle Eye when reading tonight!
Also -- you will find a green sheet with all of the reading strategies we will be learning and using in first grade this year. Please keep this to help prompt your child when reading together!
