Martin Luther King Jr

Friday we began our first discussions around Martin Luther King Jr.  Our conversations and research will continue this week leading up to the holiday on the following Monday.  I share this so that you may be prepared if your son or daughter comes home with questions or concerns around the topic of racism or old laws.  I have made it very clear to the class that this is a difficult concept to talk about and one that we treat seriously.  Thank you in advance for helping to continue to foster important discussions about race and inequality.
