Each child created a special reading buddy "monster". They promised to take care of their monster by reading to it each day. We "feed" our reading monsters books by writing down the books we've read on special reading strips and put them inside the paper bag "monster"! Our goal is to have LOTS of books "fed" to our monsters to share with families at Open House!
Be sure to ask your child their monster's name --there were some pretty creative choices!
