Day Ten in First Grade!

Today we launched Reader's Workshop and found a "just right" reading spot. We practiced finding a good reading spot and building our reading stamina.
     



In math we have begun working in our Everyday Math Journals as well as learning new math games. This week we have been working on finding the larger number as well as practicing using a number line. In pictures below, students are playing Top It with a friend while working on finding the greater number.
